Photographing high school seniors is such a joy. It is such a privilege to meet young people who are almost adults and who are right on the edge of the rest of their lives. Each and every time I photograph a senior session, I come away learning at least one new thing and with a wider perspective on the world. Being a RI senior photographer really has its perks.

My senior photo session with Lindsay, South Kingstown class of 2020 senior, was no exception. From our first meeting, I loved Lindsay’s personality and spirit. I learned all about the plays that she has been in and will be in. Our session was on a mild October afternoon right before the leaves changed. We met at one of my favorite South Kingstown locations, which just happened to be unexpectedly under construction when I arrived! Not to worry, we used some log pieces as part of the session. Go with the flow! Lindsay was so easy to photograph. I love her style and she smiles so easily (and also apparently thinks I’m hilarious…who am I to complain!). The entire session was a breeze, even with a few random bikers rolling by and construction equipment in the background. Like I said, just go with the flow.
