2019 Project 365: July Part I
True story: July is my favorite month. It’s the time of year I dream about the whole rest of the year. If the entire year could be July, I really wouldn’t mind. The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. Long lazy summer days and warm nights are the best combination ever! As a RI family photographer, it’s also one of my busiest months.
Now that it’s well into August, I figured it was time to share some images from the first half of July. I spent much of it sitting on my deck for early breakfasts or waiting for hummingbirds, in the ocean when time allowed, and eating all the fresh fruits and vegetables that summer brings. Swiss chard and fresh onions for days? Yes please! There were also walks with the dog, daylilies, fireworks, watermelon, and more.
To see more of what July held, take a look below.
July 1 • Sand
My sea glass collection, all found in the sand, all made from sand, in a glass bottle made from sand, and coral found in the sand.
July 2 • Sandwich
It’s not often that I eat sandwiches, but when I do, there’s horseradish involved.
July 3 • Door
July 4 • My country
July 5 • Sunset
This was a very cloudy day and the sunset was not spectacular. So I took a photo of what went on at sunset, my beloved day lilies closing for the day.
July 6 • Seashells
July 7 • Chair
July 8 • Cherries
July 9 • T is for…
Toes!

I have little picnics on my own back deck. Watermelon is my favorite.
