My Favorite Locations: West Kingston Path | RI Family Photographer
I’ve shared a number of my favorite locations for sessions in the past (tip: to see more of the posts, click the “locations” category tag at the top of this post). It’s been awhile since I’ve shared any of my favorite places, so I decided now was the perfect time to share another spot.
As a RI family photographer, I’m always, ALWAYS on the lookout or locations that work well for sessions. I find them when I’m driving, when I’m out for a run or walking my dog, even from looking at Google maps. There are specific things I look for in locations, so that your photos will be beautiful. I’ll go back to a location and look at it during all seasons to find out what times of year it works best. I look at the light, the direction it faces, what the background looks like, and a bunch of other things. If it passes all the photographer checks, it goes on the list as somewhere that gets used for client sessions.
This West Kingston location is a favorite of mine. It’s a tree-lined path, like many of my other favorite locations.
It’s easily accessible…this is important for locations especially when little ones are part of the session.
This location has beautiful natural light. It also provides a great natural backdrop for photos all year round. I’ve used it all times of year from hot summer days to the middle of winter with snow on the ground.
Whether it’s family photos, a princess photo session, headshots, sibling portraits, or anything in between, this location works for it. Get in touch to schedule your next session at this location or any other spot!
