There have been a lot of times that I've been happy to photograph things in my career as a RI family photographer. That said, this day was one of my favorites of them all.

Several weeks ago I had the privilege of witnessing the adorable Miss S officially become part of her family. I've known her family for some time and it was such an honor to travel to Providence to witness her adoption and take some photos immediately after. Then we traveled back to South County for some family photos with mom, dad, and big brother B. It was a misty day, but fortunately the Clark Farms Greenhouse in Matunuck provided the perfect setting for some photos.

Miss S has been loved by her parents and brother since she was a tiny baby, and she's been a member of their family since then. Her adoption day just made it "official". She's definitely in a family full of love, not only her parents and brothers but her extended family of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. She had quite a contingent show up for her special day. Family is so important, and S sure has a fantastic family.
