2019 Project 365: January Part II • RI Family Photographer
Just like that, January is over. It seems like we were just celebrating the new year and now we’re into a whole new month, inching ever closer towards spring.
Each and every day, I pick up my camera and take a new photo for my project 365. There are some days when it’s a little tricky to interpret the day’s prompt through a photograph, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It helps to make those creative muscles (where do those muscles actually live?) more flexible. It helps me to see and think about things from different perspectives.
Since much of my work is primarily done from home, I’m AT home a lot of the time, and many of my photos are taken there, especially in our small but bright kitchen. Use the space you have for photos; it can work!
Below are the photos from the second half of January. Take a little peek into my world.

This has been my favorite pie since I was a kid. My mom used to make it all the time; it’s a recipe passed down from my great grandmother. I can’t eat it anymore because I found out I’m celiac 2 1/2 years ago (though I suppose I could find a gluten free substitute for Ritz crackers!)
