The Purple Princess • RI Children's Photographer
It's always a good day when a new princess dress gets added to my collection, both for me and for my clients. Earlier this summer, the very first purple dress was added to the closet, and it has been a hit! I do like purple myself, but I never realized just how much everyone else likes it until they all started wanting to wear the purple dress! It IS very pretty (and poufy!)
The first session done with this dress was at Kinney Azalea Gardens in Kingston, which I've often mentioned is one of my favorite locations for sessions. Even though the azaleas had been gone for some time, the garden is still beautiful, and the greens of the foliage contrasted beautifully with the purple dress.
My princess subject, Miss J, is smart and very imaginative. We chatted about gnomes and elves, and Miss J even found what seemed to be an elf community amongst the leaves. I'd never noticed it before! Miss J also proved herself to be a champion at bubble blowing and twirling, and had some princess poses up her sleeve that she'd been practicing.
Check out photos from our session below. Are you a lover of purple? Or is there another color that's your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
