Now that it's (almost) winter, the days are getting shorter and colder, and the weather more unpredictable. I shoot outside all year round (my favorite kind of weather to shoot in outside as a RI children's photographer is probably snow...it's so pretty!) but sometimes an outside shoot just isn't in the cards. Or maybe you're looking for something more classic.

Either way, this is where my studio shoots come in! The studio is where I started shooting and I still love it, even if I don't get there as often as I used to. There are a lot of things to love about it...a variety of background looks to choose from, shoots can be scheduled at any time (even after dark!) and, well, it's a lot warmer than outside.

Recently I had the pleasure of having three sisters in the studio for a shoot. I've known these girls since they were babies, and it's a joy to photograph them as they get older. We got individual portraits and group shots, which are the best. Photos of siblings and families all together are memories to treasure forever.
