Two years ago, I did a project 365. I took one photo each day for the whole year. Sometimes more than one. Especially if the photos were of my cat.

Anyhow, last year I took a break. I still took photos most days, but I didn't have to pick up the camera every single day. Of course as a RI children's photographer, there were lots of days when I happily took many photos, but a little breather was good.

This year I decided to do it again. One photo each day. So far, I've kept it up. Not following any lists or prompts or themes; just taking a photo of one thing each day that interests me. This project was really fun the first time around because it helped me to become a lot more creative in my shooting. That's something I'm looking forward to again: being creative, shooting in totally different ways, and learning new things.

When I did this project in 2015, I added lens information and settings with each photo at the request of a number of other photographers. I'm doing that again this time, at least for now; I polled photographers in a few different places and the vast majority said they wanted at least camera and lens info, with a little over half looking for settings.
