Summer is (almost) here in Rhode Island! Summer means warm weather, beach trips, vacations (or staycations!) when the kids get out of school, and one of my favorite things that I do as a RI children's photographer: Special Edition Princess Sessions!
While I do these one-of-a kind sessions all year, summer is the best time for them. The long days and warm weather make sessions a lot easier, and the multitude of green leaves and flowering bushes and trees make for gorgeous backdrops.
This year I've got some gorgeous new dresses that have been added to the Special Edition Princess Session wardrobe (including this beauty, which is quite possibly the most beautiful dress I've ever seen!). Recently, I had a session with Miss H, and she was the first to model the summer version of one of this year's new dresses. You may remember this dress first showed up this past winter.
We met at one of my new favorite Wakefield locations on a warm late spring evening. Miss H is a natural behind the camera (and even turned the camera on me a few times...I brought along my old Kodak Brownie to use for a prop!) She's the happiest twirler I've ever met, smiling the whole time she twirled. Twirling photos are so much fun! We also broke out the bubbles because, well, who doesn't love bubbles?
