Last weekend I went down to Charlotte, NC to attend a workshop given by Craig Lamere, who is pretty much my photography idol. I didn't melt into a puddle of screaming fangirl, fortunately. I did have an amazing time over the two days and am so glad to have done this. I've got soooo many photos to go through and process from this workshop but I wanted to put a few up on the blog now because it was such a fantastic shooting experience. The models are (Carolyn Canty-Colon, Jackie Hoopz, Cecilia Thompson and Taylor Park); styling by Sara Johnson Design; makeup by both Marqui Artistry and Dani Lazaro/Makeup Cupcake; and hair by Monita Lawing. All these ladies rocked.
Waiting for Waffles • RI maternity photographer
This family is expecting their first little one (sometimes referred to as Waffles!) in late spring. I was so happy to be able to do their maternity photos this past weekend. Dad got in on the action and we were even able to get the family dog in a few shots (she's much more cooperative than my cat). Scroll down to see some of the highlights of the session. I had a great time and can't wait to meet baby Waffles.

I was able to secure some beautiful models for a blitz portrait shoot the beginning of this month. This shot was super fun, especially when a few of them stepped out to get ice cream and brought some back for me! I am so glad to have had the chance to work with all these ladies, especially all at one time!
